A LETTER FROM OUR RECRUITMENT CHAIR, BRIDGET!

To the 2024 potential new members,

It's hard to put into words the excitement everyone here at Pi Alpha feels about meeting you in a few short months. Lots of work and preparation have been done in this time prior to make your experience in our home as special as it can be, because each one of you bring something so unique and we can't wait to let you shine and share it with all of us. I feel so lucky to call myself Recruitment Chair, not only because I have the privilege of leading this chapter of incredible women, but because I get to know each of you and experience first-hand how special you all are. My greatest wish is that you open your hearts to new friends and experiences, and walk through this journey being unapologetically yourselves & confident that you will end up where you are meant to be.

The Cincinnati Panhellenic Community is unlike any other support system I have experienced before. Being able to have friends in every single chapter on campus, who lift me up support me and celebrate our differences have given me confidence to grow into the best version of myself; I know so many others in CPC can attest to the same.

As for Chi Omega, Pi Alpha, there has never been a love truly like the one that this chapter has shown me. I remember being in your shoes and worrying that I wouldn't find a place that I could be truly known and celebrated, and all those worries vanished every time I stepped into the Chi O Cottage (and have stayed vanished for almost four years now). I have no doubt that you will be met with the same love and kindness that every member of our chapter has, because each of you deserve to be truly known and celebrated.

My greatest advice is to forget everything else, forget every preconceived notions you may have or opinions of others, and focus on finding the people who make you feel celebrated. Because in the end, this is your sisterhood, your best friends, and your forever that you're chasing. Know that all of us here at Pi Alpha are rooting for you and keeping your best interest ever at heart.

Loyally in Chi Omega,

Bridget Verkamp (Recruitment Chair, PC '21)

FORMAL FALL
RECRUITMENT

Formal Fall Recruitment takes place each year during Welcome Week and is the most common recruitment process that members participate in. It's one incredibly fun week full of events where the chapters are able to really get to know the PNMs, show them our home, and share our beloved philanthropy. At the end of the week, we welcome our new members home on one of the most exciting days of the year, Bid Day!

For the most up-to-date information regarding Formal Fall Recruitment 2023, please visit the University of Cincinnati Panhellenic website. We can't wait to meet you!

CONTINUOUS OPEN
BIDDING

Continuous Open Bidding, also referred to as COB, is the informal recruitment process. It's a great opportunity for girls to still join the Greek community that either weren't able to attend Formal Fall or transferred to the University of Cincinnati.
